The Trust holds field days, workshops and presentations, all geared toward specific topics of interest.

Events organised or supported by Hurunui Biodiversity Trust aim to help people learn more about weed, pest and predator control, riparian planting and wetland restoration, placing land under covenant, sourcing plants locally, identifying mahika kai, project monitoring and more. Our focus is on tapping into local knowledge and best-practice examples of environmentally appropriate land use. We welcome feedback and suggestions, and are always open to collaboration.
