Amuri Range Wildling Tree Trust

We are a small group of five landowners in the Amuri Range that came together as a group around 2020. We had the same goal in mind to try and eradicate and stop the spread of the invasive wilding pines on the native hill country.

As a group our aim is to protect the land from being taken over by wilding pines. We would hate to see the land lost to this invasive tree as the land is rich in native tussock and natural beech gullies. We feel a strong responsibility to look after the hill country and preserve it for future generations.
