Mike Bennett

Mike is an experienced policy advisor and project manager and has worked for a number of years at the nexus between rural communities and regulators. He managed the Post-Quake Farming project following the 2016 earthquakes and now works as a Project Coordinator for Living Landscapes South Canterbury (an environmental not for profit).
In 2024 he embarked on a PhD at Lincoln University with research interests in polycentric governance of pest threats and biodiversity in hill and high country landscapes. Mike is a co-author of the Hurunui Biodiversity Zones of Action resource (HuBZAP).
